| Our
worship | what should I expect?
The church body comes together
each Sunday morning to worship God, pray, hear
the proclamation of His Word, celebrate the
Lords
Supper, and hang out with one another. Our gatherings
are our opportunity to express our faith together
through song, reading the scriptures, and listening
to teaching from the scriptures. Our hope is that
when we gather, our services will allow us to meditate
together on the truths of the Gospel: Gods
beauty and holiness, our brokenness and need for
humility, grace, and healing, and the glory of
Christ in uniting us to God and to one another.
All are welcome at our gatherings, and we encourage
you to come as you are. Everyone at Grace Marin is gathered
from various walks of life, and each of us is on
a spiritual quest to know and experience the good,
the true, and the beautiful. Some of us are fervently
committed. Some of us are cautiously curious. And
others of us are somewhat skeptical.
Wherever you are on the journey, we hope that you feel welcomed and at home
in our church. Perhaps you have never been to church (or have only been a handful
of times) and fear that you will not know what to do, how to act, or what to
say. Be assured: this church is for people just like you.
It is our commitment to walk you through each and every step of the worship
service so that you will not feel like an outsider. People will greet you warmly
at the door. You will be given a worship folder and be seated in our meeting
space. From there you can expect some music, some prayer, and some teaching
from the Scriptures. Additionally, you will learn more about our church and
where you might best fit in.
You should always feel the freedom to participate actively in our worship or
to just listen and observe at your discretion.
>> Sunday Worship runs from
9:30 - 11 am. You are invited to join us for coffee
and refreshments on the patio after the service.
