You are warmly invited to join us for Holy Week worship services this week. Far from mere historical rememberance, Holy Week is a chance to celebrate the living and active presence of King Jesus right now! We encourage you to engage your whole person as you worship on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.

MAUNDY THURSDAY

Thursday, April 13th

St. Paul's Episcopal Church
Meal
6:00 PM
Service 7:30 PM

We will be joining our friends at St. Paul's (and Bay Marin!) for a simple meal of bread and soup followed by worship as we celebrate Maundy Thursday.  The English word Maundy is derived from the Latin mandatum, the first word of the phrase A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you. Jesus gave his disciples this mandate as he celebrated and initiated The Lord's Supper and washed the disciples' feet as a sign of his loving service and an example to be followed.

GOOD FRIDAY

Friday, April 14th

Montgomery Chapel, San Francisco Theological Seminary
Service 7:00 PM
Childcare for ages three and under offered

Friday's worship is more solemn as we consider that great and heartbreaking day when Jesus bore the sin of the world as he hung on a tree.  Using song, prayer and scripture, we will remember and reflect upon the severe mercy of Jesus' crucifixion and death.

EASTER MORNING WORSHIP

Sunday, April 16th

College of Marin Gymnasium
Service 9:30 AM
Brunch & Children's Egg Hunt 11:00 AM

Jesus' resurrection is the source of Christian joy and the foundation of hope, and Easter Sunday is thus the pinnacle of Christian celebration and worship.  Join us for worship, feasting and fun, and bring a friend or neighbor along with you!
