Care and Help

Christ provides the model for how we are to engage one another both within and ouside our Grace community.  This means we pursue, identify with and encourage the flourishing of one another through sacrificial love.  In a word, we care.  Sometimes a need for care becomes acute, and if that is true for you, please know we'd love to help in the following ways.

Are you ready to lend a hand?  Please take a moment to fill out our congregational resource survey.

The pastors and elders of Grace Church are available for counseling and prayer.  The pastors are also available to talk about matters of life and faith and about ways you can connect to the life of the congregation.  Contact the church office if you would like to set up an appointment with a pastor.

From time to time, each of us will find ourselves in difficulty whether spiritually, physically, emotionally or otherwise.  The women and men of our mercy team are committed to walking with you, praying with you, and working to bring the resources of the church to bear for you if you find yourself in need.  If you need help, please contact Kathy Distasio.

Grace Cares is a confidential helping ministry in which trained lay memebers of Grace Church of Marin walk along side others in our community going through a challenging season of life.  Grace Cares ministers listen, pray, encourage among other caring activities.  If you would like to determine whether a Grace Cares minister might be beneficial for you, contact Pastor Rod Miles If you are interested in becoming a Grace Cares minister, contact Sharon Sterling.

The Meals Ministry provides comfort and care to families and individuals experiencing a traumatic moment in life, whether positive or negative, by providing regular meals for set period of time.  If you have the birth of a child, a surgery or some other event upcoming and would like to take advantage of this great ministry, contact Kathy Distasio, and if you would like to volunteer to provide meals, please conact our meals coordinator, Susan Schultz.
